STEAM Summer Camps

(Open to ALL students, including those outside St. Joseph Marquette School!)

Each week features a different themed camp taught by our very own Mrs. Spry and Julie Clark, with an assortment of unique projects geared toward each grade level group. Students may sign up for one half-day session, or both sessions during a week for a full-day option. Full-day campers should pack a lunch daily, and will have one hour of supervised time between camp sessions. 

 

Camps run Monday-Friday each week. All materials and a daily snack are provided.

Camps will be located in the Mother Joseph Center, 308 N. 4th Street

(Each camp session will be capped at 20 students, minimum of 5 required.)

Group A: K-3rd (Art Camp 8am-11:30am, STEAM Camp 12:30pm-4pm)

Group B: 4th-9th (STEAM Camp 8am-11:30am, Art Camp 12:30pm-4pm)

Campers only doing half day will attend the session with their age group, unless other arrangements have been made.

Monday: Hear stories and explore artwork of Greek Mythology. Produce a sketch book of all the characters and creatures we might encounter.

Tuesday: Participate in games inspired by the Percy Jackson series.

Wednesday: Recreate the recipes from the book series, like ambrosia and blue chocolate cookies.

Thursday: Make your own pottery just like the Greeks did.

Friday: Finish up any projects and participate in trivia and games.

Tuesday: Learn the lore about all of the creatures in the Jedi universe. Participate in making your own planet and eco system.

Wednesday: What do creatures eat in this galaxy far away; let's find out and make our own inspired feast.

Thursday: Learn about transportation used to move from one place to another in a Universe far far away.

Friday: A day of Jedi activities and games.
